Invest in yourself
My number one tip to invest in yourself would be to read. That's it, just read books. Actually not any old trashy novellas, but non fiction books that teach you something about the world.

For years I've had the best intentions in buying books and meaning to read, but as life got busier I've found I have less down time to sit and read.
But a few years ago I discovered something wonderful, audiobooks! Now I can get through a book a week and tens of books a year just by listening while doing other things like riding my bike, falling to sleep, waking up early, mowing the grass, you get the idea.
My favourite way to consume audiobooks in though Amazon Audible, mainly the mobile app. It just works, it's simple, convenient and has all the audiobooks you could ever wish for. I pay for a yearly subscription for about $329 AUD.
Audible has made the difference from me having best intentions with books gathering dust on the shelf to actually getting through whole books in just hours by using the 'gap' time in my life.
Give audiobooks a whirl and try Audible $0.99 per month for the first 3 months.
Another tip: I tend to wake up early and find myself dozing in bed in the early hours, it used to be very annoying, but now I just pop on my sleep mask/headphones and learn about the universe, human evolution, AI, economics, anything! Sure I fall to sleep and miss whole chunks, but I;ve found by putting the sleep timer on 15 or 30 minutes I don't tend to miss too much when drifting off.
It's the perfect solution to take your mind of the stresses of the day and unwind.
Here's the eye mask/ sleep headphones I recommend, I've been using these for about a year now every night. As a bonus they also serve as great light blockers to counter those light mornings or anoying street lights.
